The Drawing Course is aimed at introducing the different principles and techniques of drawing as an art form. The student will be introduced to the classic concepts of traditional drawing and how to use them to bring more life-like images to the page. Each week a new topic will be discussed and demonstrated with the student both drawing in class and on their own during the week (1 to 2 hours per week).

The Drawing Course is aimed at introducing the different principles and techniques of drawing as an art form. Level 2 will turn the focus toward the character and design of humans and animals. Taking the tools learned in Level 1, the student will focus on bringing life to the drawing through the concepts of gesture and expression. The Student will also begin creating image sequences, emphasizing structure and how the body moves.
Each week a new topic will be discussed and demonstrated with the student both drawing in class and on their own during the week (1 to 2 hours per week).

The Drawing Course Level 3 is a hybrid course, combining art and technology together.Each week the student will learn artistic principles of color, paint and illustration and apply them in the industry standard software for design:Photoshop.Students will need to purchase their own Photoshop license and will also need a way to draw digitally, i.e. a Wacom or Huion type drawing pad with a digital drawing stylus (1 to 2 hours per week).

The Drawing Course Level 4 teaches the art of drawing the humans with an age-appropriate approach.The body will be broken down into specific parts but will also be looked at as a whole, with the goal to create realistic drawings of the clothed human figure.The student will draw both in class and on their own during the week (1 to 2 hours per week).
